NTA NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2024:

NEET UG 2024: Application Fee
Last Date of Successful Transaction of Fee through Credit/Debit Card/Net-Banking/UPI: 9th March 2024 (up to 11:50 PM).
- General Category: Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay an application fee of ₹1700 for centers in India.
- General-EWS/OBC-NCL* Category: For candidates falling under the General-EWS or OBC-NCL categories, the application fee stands at ₹1600 for centers in India.
- SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender Category: Applicants from the SC, ST, PwBD, or Third Gender categories are required to pay a reduced application fee of ₹1000 for centers in India.

NEET UG Application Process 2024:
- Mode of Application: NEET (UG) 2024 application is exclusively online. Candidates can access the application portal at https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET.
- Submission Guidelines: Applicants must meticulously fill out the online application form available on the NTA website (https://exams.nta.nic.in/NEET). Any other mode of application submission will not be entertained.
- Single Application Rule: Each candidate is permitted to submit only one application. Duplicate submissions will lead to disqualification.
- Compliance with Instructions: Candidates are urged to adhere strictly to the instructions provided in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

NEET UG Exam Details:
NEET (UG) 2024 will comprise 200 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The duration of the examination is 200 minutes, scheduled from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).
Language Options:
Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, NEET (UG) 2024 will be conducted in 13 languages, namely Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Important Note on OBC-NCL Category:
Candidates belonging to the OBC-NCL (Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer) category must refer to the Central List of Other Backward Classes available on the National Commission for Backward Classes website (http://www.ncbc.nic.in/). State-listed OBC-NCL candidates not included in the central list must opt for the General category.
