UGC NET E-certificate 2023 Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the NTA UGC NET E-certificate for the year 2023. Candidates who cleared the UGC NET exam can now download their e-certificates and JRF Award Letters from the official website, https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The NTA has provided a detailed schedule for accessing these documents through the UMANG and Digilocker applications on its official website. The UGC NET exam for December 2023 covered a total of 83 subjects nationwide.

NTA UGC NET E-certificate 2023

The National Testing Agency released the NTA UGC NET Result in January 2024. Aspirants nationwide can verify their qualifying status using their Registration Number and Password.

It’s important to note that only candidates who pass the UGC NET exam will receive the UGC NET E-certificate. Additionally, those who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position will receive the JRF letter.

Step 3: Scroll down to find the important links section.
Step 4: You will be directed to the “Candidate login area” page.
Step 5: Choose the exam you appeared for and enter the captcha code.
Step 6: Proceed to login.
Step 7: You will be taken to a page where you can view and download your e-certificate and/or JRF award letter.

After receiving the UGC NET e-certificate and JRF letter, candidates should be aware of the different validities for each certificate.

For candidates who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), they are eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or a related subject. Additionally, they are eligible for the position of assistant professor.

Validity of the UGC NET E-certificate

The validity of the UGC NET E-certificate differs based on its purpose:

1. Certificate for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF): This certificate remains valid for a period of 3 years from the date of the result declaration.
2. Certificate of Lectureship (LS): There is no time limit for the validity of the LS certificate. Candidates who obtain this certificate can apply for lectureship positions at any time after qualifying the UGC NET exam.
