NEET UG 2023 Counselling: The official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) – mcc.nic.in, will soon announce the dates for the counselling of NEET UG 2023, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate, as per the competent authority.
Upon the release of the counselling schedule, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will initiate the registration process, followed by choice filling, choice locking, verification, and reporting procedures. For the 15% All India Quota, there will be four rounds of online counselling known as AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-Up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round, as mandated by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Nihila P.P. v/s MCC & Ors. These rounds will be conducted in an online mode.
Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) and Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) will conduct counseling for various categories, including 15% All India Quota, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (like Delhi University, AMU and BHU, including Institutional). /Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC (Registration Part only), IP University (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC Dental, Delhi – 15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota), 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER, & B .scheduled caste. NEET UG 2023 Counselling Rounds:
For Banaras Hindu University (BHU), the NEET UG 2023 counselling will consist of four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-Up Round, and Stray Vacancy Round. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the counselling for these rounds.
All candidates who have qualified NEET-UG and obtained a rank through the examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) are eligible to apply for the counselling. The rank letter/result can be downloaded from the NTA website by eligible candidates.

NEET UG 2023 Counselling Dates: BHU Seat Matrix And Reservation Policy
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) follows the reservation policy set by the Central Government. This reservation policy is applicable only to the seats contributed by BHU for the NEET UG 2023 counselling. The specific details of the reservation policy, including the categories and percentages of reservation, will be provided by BHU in accordance with the guidelines of the Central Government. It is important for eligible candidates to review and understand the reservation policy before participating in the counselling process.

- Fee Payment at Registration:
- Non-Refundable Registration Fee: UR/EWS candidates are required to pay Rs. 1000/-, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates need to pay Rs. 500/-.
- Refundable Security Amount: UR/EWS candidates must pay Rs. 10,000/-, while SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates should pay Rs. 5,000/-.
Example: A UR candidate opting for Central Universities/AFMC/ESI will pay Rs. 1000/- (registration fee) + Rs. 10,000/- (security amount) = Rs. 11,000/- at the time of registration. Similarly, an SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidate will pay Rs. 500/- (registration fee) + Rs. 5,000/- (security amount) = Rs. 5,500/-.
