Exam Schedule:
The JAC board has streamlined the examination process, with class 10th and 12th annual board exams scheduled to be conducted in a single phase. The examinations for class 10th and 12th will take place in February 2024. On the other hand, class 8th, 9th, and 11th board exams will be held in March 2024. All these examinations are set to be organized in a single phase.
JAC Class 10th and 12th Board Exams:
- Exam Date: The annual board exams for class 10th and 12th will commence on February 6, 2024, and conclude on February 26, 2024.
- Question Format: The question paper will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short answer, and long answer questions.
- OMR Sheets: Unlike previous years, OMR sheets will not be provided for MCQs. Students must write their answers directly on the answer booklet.
- Weightage: The exam will have a distribution of 30% for MCQs, 50% for short and long answer questions, and the remaining 20% for internal assessment.
JAC Class 8th, 9th, and 11th Board Exams:
- Exam Date: The annual board exams for these classes are scheduled for March 2024.
- Question Format: These exams will be solely based on multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- OMR Sheets: OMR sheets will be provided for MCQs, and students are required to mark their answers accordingly.
- Syllabus: The syllabus for these classes has been released by JCERT (Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training).
Important Exam Instructions:
- The entire syllabus (100%) will be covered in the question papers.
- Internal assessment scores will contribute to the final results.
- Students are allocated an additional 15 minutes for studying the question paper before the examination begins.
