The National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) for the esteemed position of Examiner of Patents and Designs against 553 vacancies under the DR quota in the Patent Office. This initial phase took place on 21 December 2023 (Thursday) across 260 centers in 103 cities throughout the country, witnessing a participation of around 89,657 candidates.

Eligibility for Mains Examination
Candidates who qualify for the Preliminary Exam (Phase 1) will advance to the next stage – the Mains Examination, consisting of Paper I and Paper II.

Interview Process
