CBSE Board Exam 2023-24: The new National Curriculum Framework (NCF) suggests having CBSE Board Exams in 2024 twice annually, making it necessary to study Indian languages, and increasing the minimum subjects for students in classes 9-12.

According to the NCF document reported by PTI, there will be two CBSE board exams each year, and students can keep their best score. The NCF, based on the new National Education Policy, was created by a committee led by former ISRO chief K Kasturirangan. The NCF emphasizes breaking down barriers between Arts and Sciences, curricular and extra-curricular activities, and vocational and academic streams.

CBSE Board Exam Date 2023-24:

The goal is to make exams less stressful and the boards are advised to be ready for “on-demand” exams in the future. The CBSE has also issued guidelines for schools and students for the 2023-24 board exams, stressing the importance of accurate data when filling the List of Candidates (LOC) form. Schools must correctly fill in students’ demographic details and offered subjects. The submission of eligible candidates’ data through LOC began on August 18, 2023, and can be done via the cbse.gov.in website. The deadline is September 18, 2023, with no option for correcting uploaded data.

The CBSE board has revealed the dates for the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in 2024. These exams will start on February 15 of the next year. The exams for both classes are set to run for around 55 days and are anticipated to finish by April 10, 2024. The announcement was made by CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj in an official notification dated July 12.
