Selection Process:
The SSC GD Constable selection process includes:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): An objective-type test assessing knowledge in General English/Hindi, General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates qualifying the CBT undergo PET and PST at centers finalized by the CAPFs.
3. Medical Examination and Document Verification: Successful candidates in PET/PST proceed to Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV).
Exam Pattern:
The CBT comprises 80 questions with 2 marks each, covering General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Mathematics, and English/Hindi. The time allotted is 1 hour, with a negative marking of 0.50 marks.
Admit Card:
The online exam’s admit card will be available on the official regional website of SSC. Admit cards for PET/PST and Medical Examination (DME/RME) will be issued by CRPF on [crpf.gov.in](crpf.gov.in) in the first week of February 2023.
